Find The Treatment That Is Right For You
Anxiety Management
Anxiety specific psychoeducation and clinical skills training are applied to the therapeutic process, helping you understand both how anxiety functions, and how it affects our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. When appropriate, exposure-based techniques are added to the treatment plan to target and retrain the manifestations of anxiety in your life.
Depression Support
Depression-specific psychoeducation helps identify the sources of depression, and how the symptoms of depression affect behavior, relationships, and daily functioning. Behavioral Activation is incorporated into the treatment plan when appropriate to reintroduce meaningful activity, establish healthier routines, and create momentum toward greater engagement with life.
Addictions & Substance Use
Understanding substance use begins with identifying the patterns, triggers, and emotional experiences that surround it. When appropriate, relapse-prevention strategies and other behavioral techniques are incorporated into the treatment plan to develop long-term sustainable sobriety
Mood and Emotional Regulation
Regulation work focuses on recognizing the relationship between our emotional responses, and our capacity to return to baseline when triggered follows. Principles and techniques derived from DBT are added to the treatment plan to build greater tolerance for difficult emotions and increase control over reactions, impulses, and behaviors.
Children and Teens
When working with children and adolescents, clinical concepts and therapeutic skills need to be translated into language and activities that are accessible, engaging, and appropriate for their stage of development. The same principles of combining psychological insight with clinical skills are adapted into age-appropriate forms that make the therapeutic process easier to understand, practice, and apply in everyday life.
