My Approach
I combine narrative therapy, logotherapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into a structured method that connects psychological insight with measurable behavior change. Therapy is not simply about understanding why you think or feel the way you do—it is about turning that understanding into specific skills, deliberate actions, and meaningful changes in everyday life.
The process begins with simple, learnable techniques from narrative therapy that create a new mode of understanding the problems you are experiencing. Through this new mode, you can begin developing a personal narrative that makes your patterns easier to see and understand. Drawing further from narrative therapy, as well as adding principles from logotherapy, this process then explores the meaning we assign to your experiences, clarifies what matters to you, and establishes a foundation for purposeful change.
From there, clinical skills are introduced according to the problems you are working to change. Mindfulness helps you observe thoughts, emotions, impulses, and behaviors without immediately acting on them, while DBT-informed skills provide concrete ways to respond differently. Whether the focus is anxiety, depression, substance use, or emotional and behavioral regulation, the framework remains the same: understand the pattern, learn the skill, apply it in real life, measure the change and own your story.
